I have always used creative means in an attempt to understand and become aware of myself. Usually, I focus on what overwhelms me: the thoughts, the psychological manifestations, the feelings, the darkness, and the extraordinary in my life. Here, I chose the opposite. I focused on the known, the mundane, the safe, the everyday, and the often disregarded details in my life that are, actually, what keep me afloat during the times when I am overwhelmed.
